Time to love.

After planning back and forth for so long, we FINALLY had the chance to eat 'Phở Hòa' together at Holland Village. Considering the availability of materials in Singapore, the smell and taste did show the chef's effort in making every bowl of 'phở' taste the most authentic possible. Besides, it was damn filling due to the protein-rich content added - this is a bonus compared to the 'phở' commonly sold in Hanoi ok? Eager me couldn't wait to add a little bit of squeezed lemon juice and start eating upon the unique smell of the soup (thus, what a pity no photos of the food were taken). But anyway, if you're a fan of this fancy rice noodle, you've gotta agree with me that the more you taste, the better you'll enjoy despite perspiring in an air-conditioned restaurant. Until a point when you're only left with soup and still try to get another one or two spoons of it down your throat, sweating and sticking your tongue out, you know yourself that you've reached your gastronomic climax (there is actually such a term). Shiok!

Other than the main course, Mr. Boyfriend also ordered something that he'd always wanted to try - Vietnamese spring roll (not the fried one). The sauce was sweet and strange to me, and each spring roll itself contained a whole bunch of vegetables. And shrimp. SHRIMP! So out of place, right? I was expecting like beef or something. Anyway, the taste was acceptable and he managed to finish most of them. Of course, after such a climax, we needed some dessert as a dénouement for our meal. It was so cute of him to keep trying to pronounce 'chè ba màu' then eventually got it correct together with its taste. As for me, simple ice-cream was more than enough, especially when it came with a forever-irresistible red cherry on top. Yummy!

Altogether it was an interesting experience on a sweeter-than-usual Tuesday afternoon. Lovely weather, pleasant surroundings, nice servers who promptly filled our water and cleaned the table with friendliness, GOOD food, and last but not least, the best companion ever. Following such a satisfying meal and being in such a mood, needless to say, it was time to re-direct our energy and craving.

Time to love & we left completed.

Extra stuff: Inspired by his long-wanted T-shirt printed with 'Photo of my cock' and having taken random photos of him in it while waiting for food, I came up with this collage and really like the lively, bright & cheerful aura radiated. Deeply in love with the manly AND adorable him. And agree with me that he looks good in red, won't ya? :o
